Health Level Seven (HL7) has been defining and refining the HL7 standard since 1987. Its volunteer members, including healthcare providers, consultants, and vendors, are dedicated to creating a flexible protocol for efficient healthcare data exchange. NeoTool is proud to be a part of this on-going process through very active participation and corporate membership, including Sponsorship Status, in the HL7 organization and by 'spreading the word' through our HL7: By the Book and Beyond training workshop.
NeoTool is a gold level member of The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society; a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting a better understanding of health care information and management systems. HIMSS represents over 9,000 health care professionals. HIMSS' mission is providing leadership in healthcare for the management of systems, information, and change through high-quality publications and educational opportunities.
Center for Health Information Management (CHIM) drives the adoption of strategic information management and technology in the health industry. CHIM membership spans many areas and all firms have some level of commitment to the health industry
National Health IT Week is a collaborative forum where organizations with diverse perspectives on healthcare unite to send a powerful message on the importance of fostering widespread health IT adoption. Microsoft Healthcare Users Group (MSHUG) is an independent, not-for-profit membership organization. MS-HUG focuses on applying Microsoft technology and philosophies to health care informatics. It is a healthcare industry forum for exchanging ideas, promoting learning, and sharing solutions for information systems using Microsoft technologies.
Clinical Context Object Workgroup (CCOW) provides a method of sharing workstation-level context between applications. This standards group has made great progress in a short time . NeoTool worked with CCOW since the beginning -- even before it was part of HL7.
