Getting Started

NeoIntegrate enables you to easily configure your interfaces to begin building data logic immediately.

Using preloaded HL7 2.X message, segment, field, and data definitions, you’ll need minimal ramp up time in developing HL7 interfaces.

With NeoIntegrate’s flexibility, you can even adapt versions of HL7 to meet a specific healthcare application vendor or provider’s specification—i.e. defining and implementing Z segments – with the click of a button.

Configuring

Modify HL7 Standard to Vendor Format. Customizing the HL7 standard to meet a vendor’s format is simple. To begin:

1. Select the pre-loaded HL7 version which meets the requirements
2. Load and test sample vendor messages against the selected HL7 version
3. Click on the “Fix All” icon, and the HL7 standard is modified to meet the vendor’s approach

Throughout NeoIntegrate, actions are designed to shorten the cycle time to deliver robust interfaces confidently.

Build Data Logic. NeoIntegrate enables you to easily create data transformation logic in a simple, but efficient manner. Changing formats – for example, Social Security Numbers, date of birth, or name order – has never been easier.

You may even filter out any unwanted messages from the interface processing stream, convert messages between different versions of HL7, and map the message to different formats. Ultimately, NeoIntegrate significantly shortens your interface development cycle time.

Build Workflow Logic. Create powerful business processing rules for message distribution. Effortlessly manage the flow of data to various systems or locations. Define where you want to route a single message or multiple messages.

Create Connections. Developing connections has never been easier with NeoIntegrate Configuration Wizard. Just point-and-click to define the type of connection you desire, from bi-directional, to receiver, or sender. Types of connections include TCP/IP, file, FTP, HTTP, etc.

Interact with Database. Connect to any ODBC-compliant database in seconds with NeoIntegrate’s database connection wizard. Easily write to and read from selected tables or invoke stored procedures with a few clicks of the mouse – no knowledge of SQL or scripting language required. Extensive logging features allow for tracking the results of interactions between NeoIntegrate and a database.

Testing

Delivering quality interfaces requires vigorous testing. NeoIntegrate offers you a robust testing platform to produce the highest quality healthcare data exchanges.

Test-as-Configure. At each step in the interface configuration, unit tests can be easily run to ensure the transformations and logic are being implemented as intended. Final tests also can be easily run after the interface is completely configured. With NeoIntegrate’s intuitive testing features, high quality interfaces and data exchanges are confidently implemented.

Conformance Checking. Reduce or eliminate message errors with NeoIntegrate’s powerful conformance checking feature. Get immediate validation of your HL7 messages against the HL7 standard.

Repair Message Errors. Repairing errors is easy with NeoIntegrate’s workflow that was built for the interface analyst or programmer. NeoIntegrate offers preinstalled versions of HL7 2.X to easily modify your HL7 messages to match application or provider specifications.

Documentation. NeoIntegrate even gives you automatic documentation of the business and data processing rules defined, completing the development cycle with accurate documentation.
